When you can bring your content back to the people you’re hoping to help, by responding to their actual questions, not only do you get a shiny new piece of content out of it, but you also get to feel a sense of purpose from your content too.

This past weekend, my husband and I hosted a mix of a launch party for our new venture (the @firstsipmobilebar) and an end-of-summer shindig. Super exciting and also, means-the-world-to-us with all the support from friends and fam! 🍹(Side note: Parties + Business + Prosecco on tap? Best Mix Ever).

Juggling a new business and all the content that goes along with it on top of the content for my main business, Your Content Empire (not to mention all the content for agency clients) has made me reflect on the importance of strategy.

To put a spin on a quote I think about a lot ➡️ Making sure you're headed in the right direction is much more important than how fast you're going (or how much you're creating, in the case of content)

Because, let's face it, you could be making your business a whole lot harder than it has to be (and sabotaging your results at the same time) by working with a complicated or just plain wrong strategy.

That's where the EASE content framework sneaks in and why it’s time to introduce more EASE into your content strategy (cause nobody’s getting anywhere by trying to do all the things and in all the places). Rant: You already know how important growing your email list is...

But one thing that I see over and over (and it drives me 🦇💩) is when entrepreneurs focus ONLY on building the list, and not looking after their audience once they have joined the community. A big no no 👎

In fact, I just had a coaching call with a client (now, also a dear friend) this past week and she shared a HUGE win about how using the E (engage) part of the EASE content strategy landed her a $100K client.

Cuz let’s travel back in time to 2022 (when we first started working together), Sarah's #1 goal was growing her email list and creating a funnel to nurture and sell to them.

What wasn't on her radar though was her game plan for keeping her audience engaged using a newsletter and social media engagement strategy.

I used all my powers of persuasion to help her ease (pun intended) into a daily engagement system that worked for her lifestyle, time constraints and preferences for engaging. It took awhile, but just last week, someone she started chatting with 6 months ago and nurturing regularly using this system, signed a yearlong contract for $105,000 (her BIGGEST sale ever).

We celebrated the heck outta that win—but I was definitely wasn’t surprised. #1 - She’s a rockstar at what she does, so someone seeing that and being will to pay boucoup bucks for that = a no brainer; and #2 - people want to buy from people who are top of mind for them and that they trust to get them results so I had no doubt that this strategy would work.

I can't believe it's been a little over 3 years si

I can't believe it's been a little over 3 years since I published my book, Your Content Rebellion. It was a big bucket list goal for me; and it was one of those goals that once I was finished, I found myself a little at a loss for what was next.

Don't get me wrong, still super proud of this one (it couldn't have been that bad as I'm even "officially officially" announcing book 2) --- but I built it up for so long as "the thing," procrastinated, overthought every little decision and (sadly) barely let myself enjoy the process. I was looking back at this blog post about what finally got me outta my own way so I could finish this personal Everest (even scoring Amazon bestseller status in the process) and, yup, even after the dust settled it's still the advice I'd give anyone on how to get that first draft done.

Week 1:
✅Create (or refresh) your revenue plan
✅Choose your offer and figure out your messaging
✅Decide on your limited-time offer
✅Craft (or update) your salespage
✅Put together your funnel project plan and strategy

Week2:
✅Choose your freebie
✅Create your freebie
✅Write your freebie delivery emails and messaging
✅Write your freebie opt-in page and thank you pages
✅Set up your freebie system set-up

Week 3:
✅Set up your funnel purchase system (checkouts to welcome emails)
✅Plan your email sequence and messaging
✅Write your follow-up email sequence(s)
✅Get your offer system set-up
✅Design your funnel measurement system

Week 4:
✅Write and design your funnel promo assets
✅Design your testing protocol
✅Create your funnel launch plan- the first 28 days
✅Design your monthly funnel maintenance routine
✅Complete the funnel optimization process (we have up to 20 different ideas!)

So there you go, a DIY roadmap for creating a high-converting sales funnel (I’m not about gatekeeping over here).
