Consistent Content Here You Come

Your Results Are In

You Might Be a Little Too Ambitious for the Time You Have Available

Your biggest struggle when it comes to content is time and you might feel that since you can’t do everything on your content wishlist then you’d rather wait until you can do it “right.”

You know that if you had the time to execute all of the ideas you have, your content would be successful

And it’s not that you’re too ambitious (is that even thing?), it’s just that you’ve got limited time resources to work with.

Don’t relate to any of these? *Glitch* Head over here to see the other consistent content secrets. If this is so you—carry on reading, friend.

But here’s the thing to remember—just because you might do less content than you would under ideal time circumstances, does not mean it’s forever AND you can still reap a ton of content benefits for your biz by showing up.

Play Matchmaker with Your Content & Your Time

First and foremost, a minor mindset shift can help make all the difference. Instead of focusing on all things you can’t do, focus on what you can. And remember – a little goes a long way when it comes to content.

“You can’t simultaneously do it all and do it well. But you can choose to cultivate what matters right where you are.”

– Lara Casey

But what does that actually look like in practice? Start by defining your M.V.O. (your minimum viable output) for right now – think in terms of quantity of pieces of content, frequency, number of platforms and define your essentials. So it might look like – 1 monthly blog post, turned into weekly pieces of content and discussion questions shared on Pinterest and Instagram. Then once you master your M.V.O. or your time circumstances change, you can ramp it up!

The most essential system you can set up right now for yourself is a content banking system. This will help you treat every piece of content you do create (and have created in the past) as the valuable asset it is. And so when your calendar is packed, you can shop your content bank first instead of creating something entirely new. Embracing doing more with less!

When you focus on just completing your M.V.O. content tasks, you’ll be amazed at how far even just that minimum will get you in terms of sales, audience growth and engagement.

Your 7-Day Challenge

Just Share One

The most powerful thing you can do right now to move your content forward despite having a time deficit is to get in the practice of resharing your existing pieces of content. So for the next 7 days, as you go about defining your M.V.O. (see above if you’re skimmed and missed it), is to find one piece of content you’re shared before and reshare it!

It can be anything—a blog post, a video, a social media post, a story. Doesn’t matter. The whole point here is to practice resharing your existing stuff.

Here are some suggestions for getting started:

(1) Find one piece of content that you haven’t shared in the last few months

(2) Turn it into a new post

(3) Publish it

That’s it. Once you’re finished, that’s mission complete for day one. Rinse and repeat for the next 7 days.
